Grand piano P170 PARALLELE red
Baby grand piano – P170 model.
Year of first production: 2010. This was a special order for an Art chalet in Courchevel.
This
piano symbolises the blend of music and design, the instrument’s
acoustic subtlety and its graphic beauty. Seen from afar, the Parallèle
piano, atop its acrylic legs, appears suspended in space, as if
supported by its lyre alone. The parallel stripes in a glossy and matt
cocoa brown lacquer create a musical stave, a sort of dreamlike score
winding around the piano’s body.
Close up, the piano’s interior is a
hypnotic red vermilion, down to the smallest detail: the underside of
the lid, the cast-iron structure, the sounding board, the bridges, and
even the string felts and upper dampers.
